7th overall, 5 hrs 12 minutes, 33.25km/h average, 3500m climbing
230W average power (270W normalised) with 5 minutes @ 400W to keep up end of first climb!

Volcano Olympic distance triathlon (Lanzarote)
Results from the Lanzarote Volcano olympic distance triathlon 2009. Not too far off some legends of the sport (6 Ironman winners in the top 10!) so encouraging after a hard training week and only a few places off some money, maybe takea proper race bike next year!
Bike: Scott CR1 training bike with Open Pro training wheels (and Powertap rear), Oval SCCS clip on system (out-kitted by the people around me in the results, unusual!)

First place, just off course record 
Course record on bike by over 2 minutes in the pouring rain, so pleased with that!
